How Jeff Bezos manages his time

Amazon is arguably one of the most innovative, and successful new businesses to emerge in the last decade, and a huge part of that is due to CEO Jeff Bezos.  I have used two main sources to find my information on Jeff Bezos one article from contentcakewalk.com where they had an interview with Jeff and another from CNBC.com where Jeff talked to a reporter about his tips to running a business and working with time management. Through my research I learned how Jeff Bezos is one of the best at running a successful business with managing time.
In the first article Bezos shares how “ One of the biggest time management traps in the modern workplace is getting bogged down by a full inbox of emails and phone messages. Albeit a necessary task, Bezos warns workers not to prioritize writing and replying to messages over more proactive tasks. Instead, devote specific hours of the day or days of the week to the more trivial, time consuming tasks like replying to emails and use the rest of the time improving your company.”  from this statement I can see how by prioritizing your tasks based on how proactive they are and can make a big difference when you are based with a scarcity of time.
In my second source Jeff repeats one phrase that he says by using saves a ton of time and makes his Amazon flourish. “Disagree and commit” is the phrase Bezos uses almost everyday. This phrase makes decisions making quick while allowing company members to express their opinions along with showing their fellow workers that although they disagree they still support the idea. This phrase helps build a trustworthy work environment where ideas can be shared easily and the company can always be innovating. With Jeff Bezos being such a busy guy this phrase allows him to trust his co-workers to do some of the work.

Overall I think when it comes to being successful with a scarcity of time, Jeff Bezos is one of the best in the business and we can all take a page from his book and apply these skills somewhere in our lives.

In order to start a successful clothing business, entrepreneurs allocate their initial scarce resources. This includes having a theme/look...
