Supply and Demand for Supreme
The economic principle I studied was how supply and demand affected the brand Supreme. In my case, Supreme was a great way to learn both these principles since they make few products and have many people interested in buying them. While studying my topic: How does a scarcity of brands like Supreme cause money to be made by reselling those goods? In my first blog post I talked about how flipping a few pieces a week throughout a whole season can lead to some serious profit. Secondly, I explained the popularity is growing which is good for people looking to re-sell. With more people involved in this brand more money can be made especially for the secret store in Japan making millions yearly. Thirdly, I explained a more reasonable approach to re-selling which is thrifting for cheap clothes to sell again for more money. Lastly, I explained how knowing how to correctly use sites like eBay can maximize your profits. Overall, you can see that there is a process in which you re-sell and it takes money, time, and some knowledge on this brand to really start making some money. By doing these things there is definitely a lot of money in this business of flipping designer/street wear brands.
